Paskalina Simon
Paskalina was born on 2nd Feb. 1994. She is in the seventh grade class of Rhotia Primary school in Rhotia, Tanzania. Her fathers name is Simon, and her mothers name is Mary. She has 5 brothers whose names are Alberto 24 years old, Betro 22 years old, Paskali 16 years old and Leonard 6 years old.
She has 4 sisters whose names are Lucy 18 years old, Angelina 13 years old, Fabiola 11 years old and Patrolina 8 years. She lives with her parents, brothers, and sisters in a home about 5km from Rhotia Primary School.
The family earns its income from farming on a farm of about 2 hectares (about 5 acres) where they grow maize, beans, peageon nuts sometimes wheat. They raise the food from the farm, but they don’t have enough to sell to get money to pay for school fees and other expenses. The family has a rough time, and sometimes they must get help from neighbors or from the government.
Pascalina is doing well in school. Her best subjects are Mathematics, Swahili, Social Studies and Science. She is not interested in social skills.
For fun she likes playing netball. When she finishes primary school at the end of 2008-2009, she would like to go to secondary school and, after that, enter higher school, and, after that, she would like to be a tutor in one of the colleges.
She would like to do the computer training class because she wants to learn about other people, other countries and many others things, or even to look for a job. She is interested in America and would like to know more about America and Americans.
Paskalina has started computer training in Project Rhotia’s computer Lab. Paskalina now has a sponsor, Sarah Escosa.
